It’s never been more clear that there is a real choice to be made in our lives, in our homes, in our families.  Who or what will we bow to:  the idols of our age, whatever names they go by, or the One True Living God.  Our true identity, our value as humans, and our ultimate hope are all found in the one Way, Truth, and Life.   My hope for this song is that it would become a rally cry and hymn of renewal for the children of God to stand firm in their faith, not in an “us vs them” way (for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual powers at work in this world), but rather for the glory of God and as a witness to those around us.

And what a perfect time to send this song out into the world, just as a new school year is beginning.  Would you commit to sharing this important song with those in your home? community? church?   We can’t control the world around us, but we can decide how we will respond to it.  “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”
