The anticipated first music release from the 2025 Sing! conference, “Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross”, features the tender, heartfelt contributions of noted hymnists and musicians Keith & Kristyn Getty and gospel roots vocalist, Sandra McCracken.  The prayerful lyrics of Fanny Crosby (newly adapted by Keith & Kristyn and Matt Boswell) are gently accompanied by acoustic instruments and joined by a congregation of voices of every age.

Fanny Crosby once said, “If I had a choice, I would still choose to remain blind, for when I die, the very first face I ever see will be the face of my blessed Jesus.” This hymn is rarely sung today, so the lyrics have been adapted—both to modernize the language and to incorporate this profound quote of Ms Crosby in a new fourth verse.
